Depends on the app used to make the vector in the first place, not on the website hosting that image.

Je ne parlais pas du fait de mettre une image en ligne mais bien du fait de télécharger des images vectorielles a partir de freepik et de les utiliser...

 

Je les ai questionnés et ils m'ont bien conseillé d'utiliser Illustrator donc c'est pour ça que je demande ici si il y a une base de données qui marche bien avec affinity designer pour éviter ce genre de problème...

SVG and EPS can work just fine with the Affinity applications. But if a user creates them with Illustrator, they may use functions that only Illustrator understands, and the files probably contain data in Illustrator's proprietary format, which Affinity applications cannot understand.

In other words, many such files on the stock websites are not "pure" SVG or EPS, but hybrid files. Those are unlikely to work 100% satisfactorily in anything except Illustrator.

All I can suggest is contact Freepik and tell them this is not good business. Ask them to separate the site into an Illustrator only section and then have an Actual EPS and SVG files section. Avoid claims of false advertising or bait and switch,
