Mac Big Sur 11.6.5

I create layered files in AD, export them as PDFs, then open them in plotter cutter software so my cutting machine can cut them. This morning I somehow changed a setting in the export panel -- I accidentally hit some funny keys in the Raster PDI window, deleted them, selected 300 from the Raster DPI drop down (I think this is what it was before), and now when I export those PDFs they look fine in the finder window, the preview looks fine in the "open" dialog panel in my plotter software, but when I actually open the PDF in the plotter, it is blank.

PDFs exported earlier are fine, and all PDFs I try to export now with the new accidental settings are behaving in this manner.

I would love some suggestions on what I might do to repair it, and I thank you all in advance.

A different approach: is there a way to reset AD export options, so I can get back to the pre-accident settings? Thanks.

Just choose the original preset from the preset menu.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks, Bruce. I am selecting that, exporting, the PDF opens normally in my preview window, but it opens blank in my plotter. I must have changed a setting somewhere.

I also went to preferences, misc, and selected "reset default user defaults" and it did not solve.

Which "plotter" is being used? I have no experience with them outside of old industrial machines requiring Autocad files. Is there a requirement for Layers in the PDF for the plotter? Search here in the forums for PDF Layers and see if anyone is using your machine. Is there a requirement for the lines to be a particular thickness and or colour?

Appears that somehow I corrupted the path or the folder to which I was saving the file. I created a new folder, new documents, and all is fine.

I really appreciate your help, Bruce!
