stk Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 I want to use macros in affinity photo, but after recording a macro and saving it to the library, it does not appear in the library. (I am attaching a video of the problem.) I have restarted my laptop, uninstalled and reinstalled Affinity Photo without any change. I would appreciate your help. 画面収録 0004-05-17 23.46.27.mov Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @stk. I wonder if it something about having a Chinese name for the Category in the Library panel. Does it work better if you create a new category, with a name in English? Ondy Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Hi, I have an identical problem using Affinity on a Macbook. I cannot save any macros and on top of that, the "Category"-pulldown-menue in which the scheduled macro is to be saved in is blank, no chance to save the macro. So having NO name for the category makes it impossible to save macros too? Quote
Dan C Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Hi @Ondy, Welcome to the Affinity Forums 2 minutes ago, Ondy said: the "Category"-pulldown-menue in which the scheduled macro is to be saved in is blank, no chance to save the macro. So having NO name for the category makes it impossible to save macros too? I can confirm you need an active category in order to save a macro. Please navigate to View > Studio > Library and create a macro category in this Studio. Now, in the Macro Studio, you should be able to select this category when saving, and the macro will be saved as expected. I hope this helps! Ondy 1 Quote

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Dan C Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Thanks Bruce, I believe this is already registered as an improvement with the devs, but if not I'll get it logged now Old Bruce 1 Quote
Ondy Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 Hello Dan C! Thank you for this prompt and helpful response! Macro is saved and already hard working... more than 500 files to become a hyperlapse video. Dan C 1 Quote
