Tatum
It would be interesting if we have a button on main interface for aff pub, aff des, affinity photo as sun/moon/both appearing for turn on/off themes. Suggestion attached. suggestion_affinity_darkbutt_on_off.afpub Snapseed
GarryP
By “theme” do you mean the UI Style in Preferences/User Interface, or something else? Snapseed

carl123
Not sure why anyone would want a button to change from the Light UI to the Dark UI and vice versa Don't most people just choose which they prefer and leave it at that? If you could explain why you have a need for such a button your request may gain a better understanding of your thinking/workflow re this request E.g. Do you have 2 users using a device and one prefers the Dark UI and the other the Light UI or do you actually switch the interface depending on if it's night or day, etc? PaulEC
I can't really see a need to be able to constantly flick between modes; it's just a couple of clicks to change dark and light modes in Preferences when you want to. In these context I work with a window behind of me, during day is light, during night is dark. Just this. But I don´t know numbers of users that would like this resource. It´s just a suggestion. Pšenda
In terms of responding to external conditions, it would be more appropriate (than manually switching each application) to respond to system settings and its automatic / manual day / night mode switching. Then the settings in Preferences would become added - Day / Night / Automatic mode.
