Denis Taylor Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 This is a recent event on iMac - Monterey 12.2.1 - When opening more than one image the programs Crashes - and all editing is lost. Quote
Staff MEB Posted May 16, 2022 Staff Posted May 16, 2022 Hi @Denis Taylor, Welcome to affinity Forums Can you reproduce this with a different set of images? Is it possible that is a specific file you are opening consistently that's crashing the program? Do you mind attaching the crash report to your reply please? Thank you. Denis Taylor Posted May 16, 2022 Author Posted May 16, 2022 Hi MEB, B - Thanks for the welcome. No images to show really - But AP crashed on a few occasions - No specific image. It seems that when I process images and load up maybe four (or five) to perform file size edits - Then the crash happens. I have plenty of memory allowed btw: We process many images from jpeg to PNG daily - at 300 dpi (print) and 86/144 dpi (online). The strange thing is - I thought it was an Apple issue (my iMac is 2021 version) running 12.2.1 Monterey and the up to date AF-Photo - but iI have tried with 'wifi' on and off (ref to that Apple connection)- and the same crash happens- I ran first aid on the iMac - and restarted - then it runs OK with a maximum of three images loaded in the program - Its not a major problem - just very irritating. So I was wondering if a Bug is in Monterey or perhaps a unknown conflict ? ( ref: a non-apple software product). Maybe the guys in Affinity are working on this? (note: e have all three Affinity up to date programs, but we do run them independently - as and when we need Designer and Publisher. All the Best. Denis Editor - (painters TUBES magazine) Quote
Denis Taylor Posted October 17, 2022 Author Posted October 17, 2022 Still Having issues with Crash on Mac 12.6 - My Affinity Photo version is up to date version 1.10.5 - I cannot load up more than three images - on a repetive resize routine- This is where it crashes every time. Quote
