Dirk_Vau Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 I'm scratching my head. I think i didn't notice this behavior before: Using Affinity Photo on my new Mac Studio (Mac OS 12, AP 1.10.5) the refinement tool don't show the border width. I have to switch the adjustment brush first (which is equal, then back to standard and it works). Also it is not possible to switch the preview mode. Is it my fault? Quote
Dirk_Vau Posted May 13, 2022 Author Posted May 13, 2022 i figured it out myself: don't use quickmask. On the other hand why can you use the button for refinement there? It doesn't work! Quote
Staff NathanC Posted May 13, 2022 Staff Posted May 13, 2022 Hi @Dirk_Vauwelcome to the forums, As far as I'm aware If you have quick mask enabled it won't show the border width increase/decrease when refining a selection as the area outside of the selection is currently masked. The Quick Mask button is persistent on the toolbar between selecting tools whilst the refine option is only on the context toolbar when a selection tool is active. Dirk_Vau 1 Quote
