David Gilbert Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 Whenever I use a particular tool. eg. the Inpainting tool, I find I have to save the image than reopem it with Affinity Photo as the tool does not always work when I am trying to use it on the original image.I also find the same problem when using other tools as well. GarryP Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 From what you have said I can’t understand what you are trying to do or how you are trying to do it – the workflow sounds odd to me. Can you give us a better idea of what you have (attaching the image is normally useful), what you want to do with it (as much detail as you can give is usually good), and a step-by-step guide (click here, drag there, choose this, use this menu, etc. - a video is often useful) to what you are doing? Once we know these things we can probably offer better assistance. Quote
Komatös Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 @David Gilbert Please pay attention to what is displayed in the layer panel of the image to be edited (image or pixel). If the layer is displayed as an image, you must first rasterise it (pixel) before you can edit it.
