Hello!

I'm unable to print multiple copies of a single page from publisher because these particular printers require single pages to be sent multiple times.  I have no issue when printing from our Macs directly, only our windows box.  Is there a setting somewhere in the windows version that I can tweak to make this happen correctly?

Thank you

Hi, @DirtyUnicorn

It must be the Windows driver for your printer, because I also often print single pages several times. Check the settings of the printer driver to see if you have settings for multiple copies. If so, set the print dialogue of the publisher to a single page and control the multiple printing via the printer driver.

In addition to what Komatös mentioned, I'd suggest a couple more things you can try. Sometimes Windows handles printer settings a bit differently than macOS, especially when it comes to multiple copies.

First, take a look at the printer settings on your Windows machine. Go to Control Panel or Devices and Printers, and check if there’s an option related to handling multiple copies. Some printers need this setting managed directly through the driver rather than through the application.

Another thing is in Publisher itself. When you go to print, make sure that the 'Collate' option is turned off if you’re printing multiple single-page copies. Sometimes that collate feature can mess with how the printer processes the job.

If all else fails, you might want to try restarting the print spooler. Just open the 'Services' menu in Windows, find the 'Print Spooler' service, and hit 'Restart.' That can clear up any lingering issues with how the job is being sent to the printer.
