How do I measure with margins and not the edges of the document?

I'm designing a brochure and I've tried in various ways to make it measure with the margin but I cannot get it to work.

On the picture you can see it measures on a guide on the right but when it comes to the left it measures from the edge of the document.

I have enabled "Snap to margins" and "snap to gudies"

Help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Gurgamel welcome to the forums.

Try moving you mouse slightly and the points the measurements are showing should change.
