Mainecoon364 Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I want to draw my home plan (according to the real measures) so I can see If the furnitures I buy will fit or not. 1) I think I need a ruler. So I can start drawing from the point 0 on the ruler. So where is the ruler? 2) How do I draw straight lines? (Vertical or Horizontal) 3) How would I know the measurements of the lines I draw? (Like 36.4 cm etc.) Or How would I draw such lines in specific measures? If there are other methods to do this could you tell me please? Thank you very much. Quote

(Vertical or Horizontal) You can draw straight lines with the Pen Tool in either Polygon or Line mode: https://affinity.help/designeripad/en-US.lproj/pages/CurvesShapes/draw_linesAndShapes.html I'm not sure about constraining them to vertical or horizontal. I would defer to a more experienced iPad user for that, or for other ways of drawing straight lines. Also for your 3rd question. If you have not watched the Serif tutorials, now is the time to do so. 3)See answer to 1) iuli 1 Quote Affinity Photo, Designer, Publisher 1.10 and 2.5 on macOS 15.0 Beta Sequoia on M1 Mac Mini 16GB 1TB Affinity Photo, Designer, Publisher 1.10 and 2.5 on Windows 10 Pro.
