anon1
I´ve recreated an effect I saw on TV (DMAX). The Text is the background and everything around the text is blurred. I did that non destructively which is awesome. The only problem is that I can´t expand the compound to edit the text once I´ve used it to clip the gaussian blur. Could you resolve this? Thanks in advance! (maybe I´ve mixed up "clipping" and "masking" once more)
Staff MEB Posted December 17, 2015 Staff Share Posted December 17, 2015 Hi MBd, There's currently no way to edit the compound while it's being used as a mask (other than moving it "outside" the gaussian blur filter). anon1
Ok thanks for that confirmation! I was sort of requesting if it may be possible to make this happen?
paolo.limoncelli
I found a way to do it while searching for the iOS translucent effect. The trick is to use bitmap fill but it needs a duplicated layer... anon1 1 Quote The white dog, making tools for artists, illustrators and doodlers
anon1
Looks nice! Could you please attach the file? I don't get it at first glance, sorry...
