antiplanner Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 I have Affinity Publisher 1.10.5. In the last couple of weeks, I have been getting "Hyperlink to Invalid File" error messages even though the hyperlinks in question are valid and work in other programs. When I export to a PDF, these hyperlinks are dead. How do I fix this? As an example, I am attaching a file. The words "Steve Polzin" on page 1 and "Romance of the Rails" on page 4 are examples of dead hyperlinks even though the links in the afpub file were valid.APB148.pdf APB148.afpub Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. First, it doesn't look like your PDF file was attached successfully. But I think that's OK, as I think the problem is simple. Both of those Hyperlinks seem to be of type "File" rather than type "URL" when I look at them. Try changing them to URL links instead, and they should work. antiplanner Posted May 6, 2022 Author Posted May 6, 2022 Thanks; that fixes it. I can't imagine how that happened but I'll watch for it in the future. walt.farrell 1 Quote
