Hello,

This is my first book I am trying to publish so apologies if my question is quite a newbie one.

Here's my issue : I have set up my document initially to be A5 with pages facing each other.

Now I have uploaded my document to Lulu who tells me they see my document as A4 as I am on two-page spread and they want one page spread. Basically they ask me to reformat.

I thought it would pretty straightforward with "spread setup" but when I want to change from "facing" to "single" then either nothing happens or I get my master split in two with just one side kept on a white canvas.

What am I missing ? How can I not too painfully reformat my document so that I only have A5 facing pages to make Lulu happy ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Guillaume

Thanks Mike! That's awesome. Saves me a lot of time. But that brought another small issue. (sorry) 😕  Now I need to add another single blank page at the beginning of my document so that the book starts properly from the right hand side.

I have created a blank master page and tried to add a page at the beginning with this blank master assigned but that messes up completely all the following pages who have a master assigned. I can't get my head around this again.

What would you do ?

Thanks again.

Guillaume

Go to File > Document Setup ... and choose Right for the Start on  section.

Now you will need to delete the first page so that the left and right will be correct again.

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

And then add a page at the end so the number of pages is evenly divisible by 4.

added evenly...
