Hello everyone,

How do I crop the canvas to fit the canvas in Affinity Designer?

As an an example:
You have a working area of 200px x 200px and a graphic with 20px x 20px in it.
How can you reduce the workspace from 200px x 200px to the graphic size of 20px x 20px?

Regards

Hi @Anbawelcome to the forums,

With the Move tool (V) selected, you can go into the 'Document Setup' Menu on the context toolbar, under the Dimensions tab you can change the Canvas size, in your example if the graphic is 20x20 you can anchor the object size to the page and set the anchor point to the centre.

For this I would use the Artboard tool in Designer. Select the 20 x 20 item and use the Selection for the Insert Artboard.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
