Designer1
I tried to open 3 RAW files in Affinity Photo at the same time to develop them. Affinity Photo crashed immediately!
Staff NathanC Posted May 5, 2022 Staff Share Posted May 5, 2022 Hi @Designer1, I can see if I can replicate the crash if you provide the RAW files as well as a crash report. Below is a private dropbox link if you wish to upload them there. https://www.dropbox.com/request/pKeaM2nQmXnSflZabmyx

Try opening any pictures at the same time. No matter which ones, Photo crashes. I have Affinity Photo from Windows Store, use Windows 11. There are free apps that offer much better RAW development. And DxO, for example, is miles better and more powerful than Affinity Photo.
RichardMH
Try turning off hardware acceleration if its on. Edit->Preferences->Performance.
Designer1
The system load caused by Affinity Photo RAW is simply extremely high! DigitalVisuals
PetervL
Not able to replicate neither with OCL on or of. System load also as expected, nothing out of the ordinary. Hope you find a solution soon. Regards, Peter
Designer1
I have found that if one disables OpenGL, the performance of Affninty Photo is better.
