KayaE Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Hi everyone, I am new to affinity photo and I really enjoy it, great. I am doing a lot of work for industrial clients and I have a question regarding equirectangular photos. I saw some Videos on YouTube, where people would create a short video of a movement within the equirectangular photo. (i.e. a 3 second video of a 360° turn - Examples down below) What is the function to create that? Or do you need a different program for that. I wasn’t able to find it in the forums or on google. Thank you very very much! Kaya Examples: (Movement starts at 4:38) Movement starts at 4:29 Quote
GarryP Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Welcome to the forums @KayaE None of the Affinity applications have any kind of animation functionalities and they are not likely to in the future. You might be able to use them to, probably laboriously, create the individual frames for your animation but the animation itself would have to be done with other software. Unless your requirements are very simple I would suggest using other software, unless you like making things difficult for yourself. Quote
KayaE Posted May 5, 2022 Author Posted May 5, 2022 Hey Garry, thank you very much for your input! Alright, I see. Is there any software that you could suggest or some keywords so I can look for myself? Quote
GarryP Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 I don’t do this sort of thing so I can’t recommend any software but someone else seeing this might be able to. In the meantime, try searching the forums for animate (will be plenty of things not related to your requirements), or asking the people who made the videos which software they used (I see someone asked this a few hours ago on YouTube but they’ve had no answer yet).
