Staff EmT Posted May 4, 2022 Staff Posted May 4, 2022 Hi @Jeremy Howes Welcome to the Forum. The thread below may be of some help to you. Is there a specific object you are struggling to edit or can you not make any changes to your document? Jeremy Howes Posted May 4, 2022 Author Posted May 4, 2022 Hello, the document consists of a background with three layers above, I wish to adjust the levels, colours etc on each of the three layers individually. When I select a layer in the document to edit, and then select 'adjusments' (below) to change the levels, it deselects the layer and any 'adjustments' made are done to the document, not the layer. walt.farrell Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 It would help if you'd give us a screenshot that includes the Layers panel, and the complete application window, so we can see more of what you're describing. But it might simply be that your Assistant Manager is set to create adjustments as separate layers, rather than as child layers. View > Assistant Manager, or clicking on the Tuxedo icon on the Toolbar, will let you see those options. Or, rather than changing the Assistant Manager option, you could simply drag the Adjustment layer in the Layers panel to make it a child of the layer you want to adjust. (But changing the Assistant Manager is probably easier.)
