Siusango Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Hello... is it possible to indicate how to place the dictionary in Spanish in affinity publischer? You see, I have placed the libre office Latin American Spanish dictionary several times, and there is no case, it deletes it, it does not take it into account. I see in character- language, I put the Latin American Spanish dictionary, I activate it everywhere and, I even download it and insert it in ... ProramData/affinity/common, I save it, and with or without restarting the program, I have to go back to carry out the same operation... in the end I don't have a dictionary in Spanish... it asks me for an es-CL dictionary, I can't find it... what can I do? I look forward to any suggestions... Thank you Suzanne siusango@gmail.com Quote

If you follow the FAQ instructions you won't have any .oxt files. Note that there are two posts. I would get the files from the second one, as they're easier to download there. But the instructions in the first post will be useful for putting them into the right place. David in Яuislip Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Go to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Common\1.0\Dictionaries and create a sub-folder es_CL Open the oxt archive file, I have used 7-zip, and extract the required files to es_CL Restart Publisher and the Spanish (Chile) option will be available I hope that helps and I suggest that you edit your post to remove your email Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
