As far as I know, if you drag a group of layers (to change their place in layers studio, etc), it can result in the bug you mention. Sometimes crashes can occur too, and it’s a good idea to save before exiting the project. If restarting the app doesn’t help (sometimes it doesn’t), a simple iPad reboot should. All the best!
