multi-coloured node/curves when selecting multiple curves/paths

Recommended Posts

to help differentiate between overlapping curves and nodes when multiple are selected, it would be useful if paths and their nodes could be (optionally) coloured differently for each layer/path selected. e.g. select 2 paths, one is blue with blue nodes (default) and the other is orange with orange nodes. When nodes overlap, it would then be easy to know which is on top without having to move anything first.

it would also be nice if you could change the default colour from blue (or set a "default layer colour").

thanks

Yeah this would be awesome. Even just the ability to change the color of the path would be a huge help.

I'm currently working on a project that is mostly color blue so it kinda sucks that the paths were blending in with the actual artwork.

What I'm doing to solve this problem is I'm working on grayscale so moving paths would be more manageable.

nb* you can indirectly change the path color by manually editing the layer color. Right click on a layer in layers panel and select a color from the context menu.

Hope that helps

Note that this requires the use of Layer layers; that is, layers marked as (Layer) in the Layers panel. You get them by using the menu Layer > New Layer or the New Layer icon i the Layers panel.
