Affinity Photo

I tried to open a jpg image in Affinity Photo but after 18 hours it is still trying to load. It opens successfully in Microsoft Photos.

Then when I try to close the programme, I get a message telling me to wait until the file is loaded. I think I need to re-install Affinity Photo, but I seem to be locked in to an eternal cycle.

Anyone any ideas??

Quit the program, and try off HW Acceleration in Preferences.

P.S. Email address as Name isn't good idea.

Thanks Praha, but, as I said, when I try to quit the programme, I get a screen message telling me to wait until the file has loaded.

Hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Master and close the programme from there.
