Dear all,

Suddenly I have now a black column that is blocking part of my Affinity photo program that is extending from the top of the screen to the bottom that I can't resize or move and doesn't resize when I resize the program window. It has a search bar that doesn't return any results. I can't interact with the image with the mouse is hovering on the black column. When I switch to another program that is not in full screen, the column disappears. I tried to reset everything from preferences and still no success. I am running an iMac 2020 with intel processor, macOS Monterey 12.3.1. I don't have the same problem with Affinity designer.

Regards,

remove the column?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Try View > Studio > Reset Studio

What you are seeing is a Panel for one of the Studios and it has become stretched to a massive height. The reset Studio should fix it. No I don't know what happened to make it like this.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
