I hit the wrong button and completely messed up by UI. I have most of it back, but have lost the height and width fields to manually enter the dimensions for the rectangular marque selection tool.

I have searched through the online Help files and gone through all of the View settings without finding anything to let me know how to get those fields back in the top tool bar. I have the Mode set of tabs and Feather field, but no height and width fields.

Can anyone help me know where the setting is to get those fields back? Or how to just reselt everything back to the defaul settings? I use these all the time, so I am desperate to get them back.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Likely you pressed Tab, and just needed to press it again.

You'll still need to do that to get everything back, as it's the only way to restore the Status Bar.

But specifically to your question, perhaps you need View > Studio > Transform.

If by top tool bar you mean the Context toolbar where the Mode buttons & feather field appear, when the current tool is the Rectangular Marquee Tool there is no height or width field in it & AFAIK there never has been. The only marquee tools that have a width or height field are the Column Marquee Tool that has only a Width field, & the Row Marquee Tool that has a Height field.

More about that in the Marquee Selection Tools help topic.
