Florence Perrissez
Bien cordialement, Florence
2ddpainter
Hi There is no Pathfinder Tool in Affinity Designer. The most important thing in such stuff is the grid and not the tool with which you finally create the figure As a workaround, I would try Booleans. Live Booleans might be even easier. ( For Live Boolean, select your Objects, hold the ALT-Key and choose one of the Booleans e.g. "Union" or "Subtract" then look at the Layer Panel and play with the Objects inside the Compound Object ) You just need to know what you need to cut out then and how. How the grid should be set shows your video. You could even trace the contour of the figure along the Grid by hand with a vector curve. And Affinity Designers "Pixel Persona" could also be helpful to sketch the figure. So you know better what to trace.
