Hi having a bad time with lots of hours put into a affinity photo file, saved ok this morning and did a couple of things and saved again, then it got stuck and said something about lost access and needed to close then when I try and open it I get a the file appears to be truncated (shorter than expected)

Is there anyway to recover this file as there is 5 days work on it.  I'm gutted as already so far behind deadlines and it was looking so good.

I don't have any backups of it either, is there any hope of recovery?

Out of interest, what sort of storage was the file being accessed from...

e.g. Internal drive, external drive, Server, NAS, Cloud?

Hi Guys

Yeah doing some further investigating must of been some corruption or something up with the file, I had done two of these type of files with different category images together, one saved as a 74.6mb and the other one, this one that failed to save was a massive 7.69Gb strangely, both were done with the same about of things in them and same dimensions 6000 x 14623 px 72dpi so not sure why it was so huge, no wonder it struggled to save it, anyway I've recreated it this morning and lots of the images I used had been saved separately so saved some time recreating them all, I copied the 74.6mb one and deleted its content and managed to do half of it this morning getting it back to what I originally had done and now it says 84.6mb so hopefully it won't cause me anymore problem at this size. Strange though why it saved it as such a huge file.

No I'm on a windows 10 desktop and saved on a internal storage drive.
