I see a Noise Slider on the HSL Slider tab, moving the slider gives the impression the selected colour has noise…OK great, but what do I need to do to see the effect?

On a pixel layer, neither brushes nor fill show the noise effect despite the color sample appearing to have noise.
Whats the trick to see noise?

It would appear that the noise parameter only relates to fill layers. If so the option should be grayed out for non-fill layers.

That doesnt make sense either, why would foreground line colour display noise if its only used for fill layers?

I can confirm the 'Noise' option will relate to any fill you are adding, whether this is for a Fill Layer, a vector object (such as a quick shape) or even to a stroke, such as a stroke around text.

The 'Noise' option however does not apply when adding Pixel content, such as using the Paint Brush, or 'filling' a Pixel layer, as they are different from a Fill Layer.

I hope this clears things up!
