New_San Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Hi, It's bothering me all the time that my .Ai file that work with document unit as pixel always converts into point when open in Affinity Designer. This causes the artwork way bigger than it supposed to be. Not sure if I miss any setup on both Apps. Thanks. Quote
Komatös Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Hi, @New_Sanand welcome to the forum. Maybe unticking "Show Lines in points" unter Preferences -> User Interface may help. firstdefence Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Nothing either end prevents unit conversion to pts even if the ai file is exported as PDF and EPS. SVG will retain the pixel units and original artboard dimensions. cristianofeijo Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Hi there. You have to import using DPI 72. When the file loading, change Documents Unit from Points to Pixel. That's it! Worked for me here. Affinity Designer 2 (MacOS Ventura). Quote
