Unable to select objects with pencil or use nodes

A couple of days ago I stopped being able to select objects with the apple pencil; I can select the object from the layers menu, but that’s gotten tedious. Today, the software doesn’t seem to recognize when I’m trying to select an object at all, and I’m unable to use the node tool to make adjustments (even after trying to convert it to curves). It just simply doesn’t put any points on the object, despite being created with the pen tool in the first place.

I’ve restarted my iPad (it’s a new generation model) and made sure all software is up to date. Anyone else experience this or have a resolution?

Hi @kcblakeand Welcome to the Forums,

Can't say i've experienced this before, however looking on the Forums, another user did and it turned out they had an active selection.  If you are in Designer, have you been into the Pixel Persona and used any of the selection tools?  Also if you start a new document, are able to use the Pencil in that?
