zBernie Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Using the pen tool in AP, if I create a triangle, then click the "Selection" button, a triangular shaped line is selected. How can I select the entire area of the triangle? -Thanks Quote
NotMyFault Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 The entire triangle is actually selected. Only the edge of the triangle is shows as "marching ants". You can visually check the selected area when activated the "channels" panel, and scroll down to see the thumbnail called "Pixel Selection". The white area shows the selected parts. Another alternative way is to press Q (Quick mask) which shows a red overlay for not-selected areas. Yet another way is to click "mask" instead of "select", or to click the mask symbol in the layers panel. You can always convert (lossless) between mask and selections. The mask only shows the selected area and hides non-selected areas. zBernie Posted April 27, 2022 Author Posted April 27, 2022 Thank you. That clarifies my duh moment! I just assumed only the marching ants were selected, not what was in between them. Quote
