colindun Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 What is it that controls anti-aliasing of vector objects in Affinity Photo? I'm working on some simple vector shapes, aligning them with guides, but when I zoom in the edges of the vector shapes appear to be anti-aliased and not aligning precisely with the guides. Is there a way to switch off that anti-aliasing? Ta. Quote

Guides is in pixels perfect position? Shapes position and size is in whole pixels? walt.farrell Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Photo always uses a pixel view of the canvas, which will affect how vectors are viewed when you zoom in, when the edges aren't horizontal or vertical. Designer gives you a choice between vector view mode and pixel view mode, and may be more appropriate for what you're trying to do. colindun Posted April 27, 2022 Author Posted April 27, 2022 Thanks Walt. That's a pity. The mixed bitmap vector environment of Photo suits me better than Designer. It'd be nice to have that option in AP too ;0) Quote
colindun Posted April 27, 2022 Author Posted April 27, 2022 I'm going to take another look at Designer. Just bought it. Thanks for the prod ;0) Quote
