If you have a shape like this

you can add further nodes by choosing the Node Tool and clicking anywhere on the line segments that join the existing nodes.

I’m not sure what you’re asking about moving the shape.

By "move the form" do you mean moving the whole form (a vector curve) without changing its shape or (more likely?) just moving the dots (nodes) you have added to alter the shape?

If you mean the whole shape, use the Move Tool for that. Otherwise, use the Node Tool to select & move the nodes however you want.

Also, in general it is a good idea to tell us which Affinity app you are using (Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, or Affinity Publisher) & if this is on a Mac or Windows PC.

I just tryied your explaination, and it work. Great !!

I was trying with the vector pen tool, but it create a new layer. With the node tool, it's ok.

And you can move the node to change the shape.

Your right. I'm on a mac, with designer.

But I have my solution.
