Mabian
Hello, is there a reason why the Ctrl-Alt-Left/Right Drag brush size shown while dragging is twice the stroke width shown on top bar in Designer persona while using the Pencil tool? Affinity Designer 1.10.5, Windows 10 x64 Pro. Thanks, Mario

If your application is setup like mine, the Context Toolbar is showing the Pencil Tool size in pt, but the preview when using Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right-drag is showing the size in px. They will be different, unless your document is set to 72dpi. Mabian
Bingo! Pixels are exactly twice the pt shown in the stroke width in the top bar. I just learned something new, thanks! - Mario
walt.farrell
You're welcome. It will probably depend on your document DPI, though, so it could be different in different documents. It does for me, in a predictable way so for example changing the document DPI from 72 to 144 it is double, to 192 it scales proportionally to ~2.667, & so on. walt.farrell 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
