Hi @fotis575 and welcome to the forums...

It may not make any difference but try setting your X0, Y0 point to the top left corner in Lightburn (rather than the top right as shown in your video clip) prior to exporting and see if it makes any difference.

When import svg from lightburn to Affinity Designer the linked vectors appear in scattered places.

You have to show a SVG file from that Lightburn software, so one can inspect how that generates it's SVG output code. - It's possible that ADe interprets/parses in the SVG code from that Lightburn software differently here, than webbrowsers etc. would do instead, since ADe supports just a plain subset of the whole SVG spec.

Have had this same "pieces of svg file" all over the place when placing a Lightburn file in Affinity Design. The only way I can fix it is to export svg from Lightburn>Open or import in Inkscape>export as plain svg to place in Affinity Designer. Since this seems to happen only using Lightburn, then that must be where the problem resides.

@patricr, are you able to upload a sample svg file so we can take a look at what's causing the issue?

In LightBurn if you change your 0, 0 origin to Top Left by going to Edit > Device Settings and clicking the Top Left radio button...

Depending how you've setup your artwork you may need to then rotate it 180° and you may also need to flip it horizontally Arrange > Flip Horizontal. If you then export your file as an SVG it 'should' open as expected in Affinity Designer.

It also depends how the table has been set. 0,0 isn't necessarily top left, it can also be bottom left.

From having a little play around, before export make a note of the height of the object, export to SVG and open in Affinity Designer, change the units to millimetres and in the transform panel change the y: to the height of the object, it should move it into position correctly.

Nope, the upper left worked since that is the the home and origin of the laser. I never thought that was the problem, even after years of dealing with Postscript and image setters!

So slick to take a wood inlay file I want to make a proof of, out of LB and into Designer where I can add wood captures in Styles right into the proper areas of the design. Thanks to all for the help. Sample below.
