how do I add the TM trademark to a SVG file

I need to add a TM trademark symbol to a svg file.  Also I have to delete part of the SVG file to remove some old content, 1st then add the TM .

To add the TM I have tried search for current instructions and I only find old ways. I am on he current 1.10.5.1342 and a new user. Thanks for any help.

Do you mean some symbol which is a trademark for a company or organization or do you mean the actual ™ symbol? Try Alt + Shift + 2 (Alt + @)

Option + @ works for Macs.

Alternately, in APub (but not in AD or AP) there is a Text > Insert > Symbols > Trademark menu item that could be given its own custom keyboard shortcut but I can't see any reason to do that, as long as the shortcut built into the OS works as it should.

Another way is via the Glyph-Browser for some selected font of choice ...

It can be tedious to scroll through all the glyphs to find the one you want, but there is a search box at the bottom of the Glyph Browser that can help with that ... as long as you know the name of the item you are looking for. So since the name for ™ is "Trade Mark Sign" searching on "trade" will work, but "trademark" will not because the name has a space in it.
