App crashes when trying to place photo

Recommended Posts

Hi @David Willcocks

I think you need to open iPad Settings, scroll for the Photo App and enable "Allow Photos to Access". Hope this help — if not, someone else will come with a better solution.

(If AP is newly installed, simply Import from Photos and you’ll be prompted by a message to allow access to Photos.)

All the best!

Hi @David Willcocksand Welcome to the Forums,

As pointed out by @iuli, was the option in settings to allow access to Photos enabled?  If it was can you try disabling it and then enabling it again, to see if you can then place a photo from Photos.

Finally it would be worth trying a forced restart of your iPad as outlined on this link.
