Hello,

I am happily using the iPad to retouch my pictures and I am looking for the best workflow from Capture one to Affinity.

This is what I am doing:

  • Select/edit photos into Capture one and save in a folder a TIFF that I will import into Lightroom Mobile (I could also save DNG but I have issues with TIFF workflow)
  • In Lightroom Mobile I will "open in" Affinity

The question is: is there any way to use 1 file? It seems that when I either open or export into affinity it will automatically save a new file. It means that then I need to resend back to Lightroom and delete the previous version

Is there a way to avoid this? Ideally I would like to send a TIFF to affinity, edit it and save., with Lightroom Mobile detecting the changes I think the issue might be Lightroom Mobile as it does not use existing folders and thus it sends a shared copy to affinity, but maybe is not that.

ps. for who is interested I am editing GFX100S files with affinity with no issue, I usually work with TIFF of 1Gb size

Thanks for any help. :)
