I am creating a book in Affinity Publisher. Originally, I had it set up with a two-up layout, but when I submitted it to my publisher they replied that they need it in a one-up layout. So, I'm recreating the publication. The problem is that the introduction and other text at the start is fine, but for the rest of the book I have a two-page layout that is applied to the one-up pages.

I have the two page layout separated in Master pages (call them A and B). I need to create the rest of the book's pages now (about 140 of them). I need to apply Master A to every other page, and apply Master B to the others. How can I do that?

If by "two-up" you mean "Facing Pages", then you should be able to simply select "All Pages" where it says "All Spreads" in the Export dialog for the PDF file you're creating.

If @walt.farrell's solution doesn't work then it might be useful to delete most of the pages, replace the remaining text with whatever, and then upload the newly saved file for people to look at and hopefully offer advice.

You can add a Master page to all even pages or all odd pages. (Right click on the Master and choose "Apply Master to...).

But you don't need to recrate the publication, just do as Walt said and export your existing file as "All Pages" rather than "All Spreads". If you change the layout from facing pages to single pages and start applying new Master pages, you're not only making more work for yourself, but you could also mess up the page layouts!
