OlivierM Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Hello, every 2 months I create a mailing for the same client. Each mailing includes 2 to 3 documents. For each mailing, I create 3 or 4 specific colors that I use in all documents. So I would like to be able to create a dynamic palette shared between several documents. By changing the palette, the colors would update on all documents at once. Is it possible ? Quote
OlivierM Posted April 20, 2022 Author Posted April 20, 2022 Also, it would be awesome if this shared dynamic palette works in the whole Affinity suite ^^ Quote
Old Bruce Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 A couple of ways to do this. Make your first Document. Make a Document Palette with the colours you want, export that palette. Make the second document import the Palette, repeat for the third palette. You could try using an Application Palette with Colour Swatches. I haven't tried that yet. But it would be available to any document in that particular Application, meaning you will need to make an Application Palette for each of the three Applications. On Mac you can make a System Palette which means all the swatches will be available to all applications that support Palettes. When you say you want to have it dynamic are you meaning Global Swatches in the palette? If yes then the global colours in a Document Palette won't update in each document. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
fde101 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Consider creating a single document with multiple sections instead? Quote
