Merging an adjustment layer with a layer that goes beyond the canvas boundary leaves white edge

This is partially by design, and partially a bug (in my view) but again not rated as bug by Affinity.
The blending of edge pixels gets wrong in certain cases.

The lower layer is rotated, this leads to anti-aliasing at the edges.

You would need to rasterize and trim the lower layer first before using merge down.

If you have a larger than canvas area without rotation or DPI mismatch no blurry line will occur (e.g. a rectangle, rasterized without trim).

Really? Can’t check on Windows, but iPad results are identical in V1 / V2
