ashf Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 How to reproduce the bug: Create a layer that goes beyond the canvas boundary. Then "Merge Down" an adjustment layer with the layer you created. merge-bug.afphoto Quote
NotMyFault Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 This is partially by design, and partially a bug (in my view) but again not rated as bug by Affinity. The blending of edge pixels gets wrong in certain cases. The lower layer is rotated, this leads to anti-aliasing at the edges. You would need to rasterize and trim the lower layer first before using merge down. If you have a larger than canvas area without rotation or DPI mismatch no blurry line will occur (e.g. a rectangle, rasterized without trim). NotMyFault Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Really? Can’t check on Windows, but iPad results are identical in V1 / V2 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. ashf Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 Do you see the 1px edge around the document after the merge? I don't see it anymore on Windows. Quote

ashf Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 Oops, you are right. I didn't use the merge selected. Quote
