Create an image mosaic automatically ?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I would like to create a mosaic of images like the one in attachement, automatically without having to paste each image one after the other. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance !

Kind regards,

Adrien

Hi @Limpzen and welcome!

You can do it with a data merge in Affinity Publisher, not sure if there's any easy way in Affinity Photo. There's quite a lot of steps but post back if you're interested.

Affinity Photo 2.0.3,  Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.

Affinity Photo and Designer cannot automatically create contact sheets but some Image viewers such as XnViewMP can...

Another alternative way is to use ImageMagick for creating montages and arrays of images, which then could be opened afterwards in Affinity apps for changing layouts, order, orientation ... and the like!

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
