DallasP Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 I am trying to setup grids for working on some fixed size assets. When using the Advanced tab of the Grid and Snapping Axis window, applying a gutter doesn't apply to the starting vertical edge of the page, as seen in the image. Why is it the gutter is applied to the top, bottom, and right but not the left? Very annoying. Quote
Old Bruce Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Actually it is applied to the Top and Right, not the Left nor the Bottom. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
DallasP Posted April 14, 2022 Author Posted April 14, 2022 Is there no way to make it apply to all sides in some way? Quote

Use 0 pixels for the gutter and then you can have a 256 pixel gap between the 256 pixel sized sections. Use the Guides Manager with an appropriately sized artboard and margin and with a little bit of math (arithmetic actually) get the gaps and sizes you want.
