Hi my name is Bertrand and i am an enthusiastic Affinity user . I've had a new version of Publisher installed at work .
My problem is that a document I need seems to be corrupted.
Because no matter what I do i just can't jump back to the pages as i am stuck inside the Master pages editing panel..
I've tried escape , double clicked many times on the page Icons  etc.. Nothing seems to work to get out of the Master Pages..
What can I do to get back to the pages so i can edit them? Is there is a command I can try?
Thanks for your help in advance,

Bertrand

Thanks a lot..  I've loaded all the related files.. Some are perhaps unecessary. The problem has probably due to the fact that some of those files are linked on a network that slows everything .. Maybe I should integrate them.. Or perhaps in the perfomancepanel I should add mre Ram?

It is generally recommended that you do not edit Affinity files which are stored on storage which could become detached during editing (including network drives, cloud servers and removable drives).
This is because of the way the Affinity applications read the files and their contents.
You would probably be better off editing files stored locally on your machine and using some kind of service to sync them with a server when they are not being edited (or manually sync them).

Thanks for sending these over, I've been successfully able to make edits to the master page and go back to any normal page within the document without a delay on all your .afpub files, though in this instance the resources are mostly unlinked. As you have mentioned it may be beneficial to embed the resources via Resource manager or put them in a local directory as they are linked to network shares which can cause issues.

I've embebed all the images and it works but as expected it creates a large file.. So thanks a lot,:)  it works however. Another small isssu you must have heard of  is tha it takes time to load and it lags a lot..  There is no way for me to know the progression loading of the document. I guess future upcoming version will solve that issue,.. hopefully..
