Yodelman
Hi. New to AD and can't seem to find how to print a file in color. The print dialogue shows the file in grayscale and that's the way it prints. I've tried with several types of files (ai, pdf, jpeg) and it's always the same. A file will save and export in color. I can print color files from all my other apps. I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Thanks for any help. thomaso
Hi @Yodelman, Welcome to the Affinity forums! Check your various print dialog menus, an according option could be in several of the available menus, even in "Presets". Since the available options vary with the printer, respectively the used driver, it's hard to tell for users without having this specific printer installed. 4 minutes ago, BofG said: Can you print in colour from any other applications? Obviously yes: "I can print color files from all my other apps." 😉 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

Yodelman
Hang on...I think the problem is me. I recently got a new computer and I could have sworn I printed from it already. But, it appears that I must not have. While I can print, I apparently do not have the correct print driver. The printer is probably 10 years old or more. And, after fiddling around with the HP installers, it appears there may not be one that's compatible with my new laptop. You would think that after 30 plus years of using a computer, I would have thought of that. Anyway, being that this is my first post on the forums, I'm duly impressed with the quick responses. Many thanks!! I'll be back if I need more help.
