Vector objects sometimes have line widths altered when using copy and paste between files or between artboard

I am extremely limited by bugs in Affinity in which simple copy and paste operations can result in unpredictable changes in line widths. Many times a set of objects will paste with different line widths, making some objects much thicker or some seem to disappear because the thickness is so small. This happens especially when pasting to another artboard, but can also happen between files or occasionally within a file. Was happening sporadically before on Mac OSX 11.6.4, but after my Mac update to 11.6.5 today it seems much worse. Using Affinity Designer 1.10.5, latest version. Was happening on prior version as well. Any way to prevent this?

Hi @affino,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Can you please provide a sample .afdesign file where this occurs, or a screen recording of the issue you're reporting?

If you are copying and pasting objects between documents with different DPI values then it's possible for your objects to appear differently - but this shouldn't be the case within one document.

Unfortunately I'm not able to replicate this issue from your report, so the more information / examples you can provide, the easier it will be for me to support you here.

Many thanks in advance!

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
