Affinity Designer: How to start my project with a transparent background.

I'm very new to Affinity Designer. I can't figure out how to start my project with a transparent background instead of a solid one. Please see screen shot of what I'd like. Thanks in advance!

When you create a new document, enable/check the "Transparent background" checkbox ...
