FraGar
Is it posible to lets say choose 10 circles and resize them with the same senter as the old on, without do it with one and one of the time. Maybe one "parent" and the rest "children" so when you change the "parent" the "children" changes equally. Its realy time consuming if one have to do it with one after the other, specially if you have it not in line. Now if you try to change al of them, it "centers it in the midle. Staff EmT Posted April 7, 2022 Staff Share Posted April 7, 2022 Hi @FraGar Which Affinity application are you using? In Affinity Designer you would be able to create the object as a 'Symbol' and this would then allow global editing. Please see attached video for more information. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j--9mf2siQ Please let me know if you need further assistance. FraGar
Sorry about that, I use Affinity Designer 1.10.5.1342 This would work. Is it posible to make the "Symbol" follow a path? Thank's for the quick reply 🙂
Staff EmT Posted April 7, 2022 Staff Share Posted April 7, 2022 Unfortunately that is not a current feature, however if you use power duplicate, it will move the next duplication relative in space and sizing, to the first duplication. The video below should demonstrate this. https://youtu.be/bSm15HGADzk?t=144 Quote How to format a bug report | List of V2 FAQ's | Affinity Photo (V2) Tutorials | Affinity Designer (V2) Tutorials | Affinity Publisher (V2) Tutorials
FraGar
Yes, thank you. That works for straight lines or random placement, but unfortunately not paths. But for now it have to do. Thank's again for quick reply. Have a nice day.
Alfred
The Move Tool ‘Transform Objects Separately’ option should give you the result you want. G13RL
Without using symbols, you can place objects along a curve. Draw the curve, duplicate it on itself. Draw a circle, duplicate it (on itself or not) as many times as necessary. Select all circles, "Cut". Take "Artistic Text Tool", click on the curve, "Paste". Adjust the spacing between the circles using "Tracking" in the "Character" tab of the studio.
