Stephen Tucker Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 When printing a large format( A1) on A4 paper using the tile function, I am missing about 3mm of the design around the edge of each tile, I have tried various adjustments but it is always the same. Can anybody help? Quote
thomaso Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Hi @Stephen Tucker, welcome to the Affinity forums! I wonder what "bleed", respectively what "overlap" values you have set? To me at least the print preview image displays the entire page + adds additional areas with an increased overlap setting. Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

Export as PDF and print from e.g. Acrobat or Foxit, as they have some more / better options for tiled printing. Many thanks for your reply. I haven't tried bleed setting yet, but have tried various ''overlap'' settings without success. The closest I have come is to set my printer settings to ''borderless'' with an ''overlap of 3mm. This will print the entire design but with overlaps ranging from ''0'' to 15mm which isn't helpful. I have used Serif products for thirty years and was very familiar with their ''Draw Plus'' which performed this process perfectly. Now trying to get to grips with ''Affinity'' which at the moment seems to be over engineered for my purposes. Quote
