Carla Posted December 15, 2015 Share Posted December 15, 2015 I imported the first picture of a scenery without a problem. Once I was done with that I imported a picture of myself holding a child where you could se my full torso and a lot of the wall behind me but the picture that opened up in affinity was a close up of half my face and half of hers. Staff MEB Posted December 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted December 15, 2015 Hi Carla, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) If you imported the second image as a new layer to the document containing the first image it may be possible that the second one is extending beyond the canvas, that is, the second image is bigger than the first and part of it lays outside the visible area. Click on the second image in the layers panel to select it, zoom out (make sure you have the Move Tool selected) and you should see the selection marquee outside the canvas area. Click and drag on one of the corners to make it smaller, so it fits inside the canvas area. Let me know if you still have trouble.
