Pantone Colour Palette

Hi Simmo

Can you check you are running the latest version of the app? (1.4) to do this, just go to Affinity Designer>About

if you are, under the Swatches tab, select one of the Pantone groups and you should see the search directly below as shown in the screenshot.

Thanks for that - yes I have 1.4 and I do understand how to access the pantone palette but in the dark UI my old eyes could not see the search field

I missed that as well when I was initially searching. I am used to the search being at the top of a palette with Illustrator and Indesign. It is on the bottom and works exactly as it should.

This is one reason why we want to see a tool explanation screen overlay (displayed temporarily by keystroke).
